Using Google Drive to share video in a online language course

Session Description
When teaching a language online, it’s important to hear how students speak the target language. The presenter has been using various methods, such as Video dropbox provided by Michigan State University. However, the disadvantage of the Michigan State University system is that it uses Flash. As many of us know, flash can’t be used with smartphones. The presenter has been using the Michigan State University system for almost ten years in his online Japanese classes, however, it’s necessary to change the video sharing method as the technological trend changes.

This presentation will show how to upload a video from iPhone, iPad, Android, etc., to Google Drive, and share it with the whole class, friends, etc. In the presentation, steps of how to upload the video file, and sharing will be introduced. Participants will learn how easy it is to share the video files.
