Session Description
What does strengths- based online professional development look like? How can we infuse self-care and reflective practices into teaching educators? At the Hawaii Positive Engagement Project (H-PEP), we are re-envisioning what professional development looks like for Hawaii’s educators. Learn how we facilitate the online component of our professional development series, utilizing free web tools such as Google Community, Google Hangouts on Air, and YouTube. Gain tips on how we encouraged our participants to take action after each session, using Google Sheets and celebration of successes. Learn how we used daily focuses and hashtags to keep participation going throughout the 10-week series.
