The General Systems Theory (GST) Communication Project

Session Description
The 17 year community simulation, with a class of Informatics sophomores as the team, was produced twice each year except for one summer party. You could say that everything except the date and time of the event changed. The General Systems Theory interest in organismic developments, roles, levels and processes came to include Game Theory, to sense the literal energetic force of an event, to recognize that event management is about “organizational behavior,” and enjoy an emerging lifeform . It’s a history of improvisation and going forward in an uncertain world with a handful of policies, principles, and experiences to guide.
