Sustaining Community in an Online Graduate Program

Session Description
This session examines the experience of sustaining community in an online graduate program with both faculty and students. We discuss changes that have occurred since our 2016 presentation with special attention given to support for high drop courses (1st & 2nd term courses, etc.), faculty community building, and student clubs. As Argyris and Schön (1992) suggest, organizations work, learn, and evolve together; so, we conclude with reflections on the current status of our program, and an invitation for session participants to share ideas on sustaining community.
