Session Description
The session presents an introduction to the current state of the art in IoT, IoE, and M2M as it is transforming our lives today and as it is expected to further transform our future while promoting attendees to discuss their ideas about what educators and institutions will need to do to develop the knowledge and skills to effectively educate our leaders, technologists, technicians, traditional and non-traditional students, and the pubic at large as we move more and more into a technology-driven IoE reality. Dr. Mendi Mullett will present ideas to describe key terminology, concepts, and upcoming education challenges followed by an opportunity for attendees to participate in a question and answer session to brainstorm about the challenges and opportunities the transformation offers the education community.

During the session, I was asked to share my IoT and IoE linkedin blog.
The group in LinkedIn is titled ” Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, actuators, and things ”
Anybody who would like to join and participate, try this link
https://www.linkedin.com/groups/13400026
or send me a linked in message (mendi mullett) or an email at mendimullett@gmail.com requesting
an invitation to join the IoT and IoE group. In the past, this has always been a group that could be joined by invitation only. I would be glad to accept any of you who attended the TCC Conference who wish to become members of the blog.
I would encourage you to enjoy the content and add some ideas of your own!
Thanks!
Mendi Mullett
Here are the reference links I included at the end of the presentation.
I believe these are a great starting point for learning more about IoT, IoE, and the demands and opportunities for education that are arising.
