Session Description
In 2016 the MSIDT Program faculty adopted OER materials in all program courses. Our goal was to provide students with an affordable learning solution and decrease their textbook costs. Faculty attended university training, and were supported by the university faculty development center, the librarians, the book store on campus, and instructional designers. We present our experiences, training, and opportunities during this presentation. We share how others might use our experiences as they move forward with OER materials to support students and locate high quality materials.
