Artificial Intelligence: Conversational Bots to Access, Examine and Understand Information

Session Description
Conversational computing is a relatively new area being explored to provide students and faculty access to knowledge exploration through artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence has many uses and can help align the way we access, examine, and understand information. This session will introduce Knowledge Exploration and Language Understanding Intelligent Service (LUIS) to build learning environments for groups of faculty or students. Bots, available for free from Microsoft Cognitive Services, will be used as the medium for knowledge exploration.
