Utilizing Technology for Current Worship in the Christian Church

Session Description
Music has traditionally required musicians to be physically present to create and perform music together. With technological advances, music courses can be offered to students, both musical and non-musical, by allowing them to use applications to collaborate. This presentation will discuss utilizing DAW Control and SoundTrap for Education as applications that provide a hands-on, collaborative approach to training high school students interested in current church music practices in navigating basic sound technology and musical creativity in an elective course “Introduction to Worship.”
